Format & Play
- Is the championship stroke play or match play?
- Both. Every division uses stroke-play qualifying to seed a single-elimination match-play bracket. The Championship finals are contested over 36 holes.
- Where is it played?
- At TPC Harding Park and Lincoln Park Golf Course — two historic San Francisco municipals. Qualifying is split across both; match play centers on Harding Park.
- Can I take a cart?
- Not in the Men's Championship — carts are prohibited for players and caddies. Other divisions follow course policy.
Following the Championship
- Where can I find live scores and pairings?
- On the Results page — the leaderboard refreshes automatically during play, and pairings post as the draw is set.
- How do I look up a past champion?
- Browse the complete, searchable roll at Every Champion, or open any player’s profile to see their full record.
